What We’re Weaving

Weaverbird is a community-powered matchmaking platform helping battery and energy storage innovators find the right technical and manufacturing support to scale faster.

The Story Behind Weaverbird

Weaverbird began with a straightforward vision. Founders shouldn’t have to figure out the path to scale on their own.

Over the past five years working closely with entrepreneurs and climate tech startups, I kept seeing the same thing. Promising technologies were getting held up while searching for the right technical expertise or manufacturing support. Even when managing a climate tech accelerator program aimed at helping companies scale, I often found myself wishing there was a trusted, go-to resource that mapped out the support available to them for navigating both common and niche challenges. So I decided to build it. Weaverbird brings together the connections, insights, and guidance I always felt were missing so founders can focus less on chasing down the right help and more on building what really matters.

Our Vision

We envision a world where no climate innovation gets stuck because of disconnected systems, missing know-how, or inaccessible support.

We’re building more than a matchmaking tool—we’re laying the foundation for a more connected, collaborative, and inclusive innovation ecosystem. One where founders don’t scale in isolation, and technical expertise is accessible at every stage of growth.

Why Weaverbird Is Different

Too many promising innovations stall—not because the tech isn’t good enough, but because founders don’t have the right people, tools, or support at the right time. Weaverbird was built to change that. It’s not just another directory or network—it’s a platform shaped by people who’ve lived the messy complexity of scaling climate hardware, and built to remove friction from the process.

Unlike many platforms that feel impersonal or generic, Weaverbird is deeply human, founder-centered, and focused solely on helping innovative technologies scale. We offer more than matches—we provide strategic support, curated connections, and community infrastructure for builders. Whether it’s vendor selection, prototyping advice, or just knowing who to ask, we meet founders where they are—so they don’t have to do it alone.

What We Prioritize

Driven by the Work, Not the Spotlight

We’re here to do the work that matters—for the planet, for the people building it, and for the systems that need to change. We focus on outcomes over accolades, and let impact speak for itself.

Clarity in Complexity

Scaling hardware is complex. We focus on making the process clearer—through shared language, structured guidance, and the right connections—so teams can move forward with confidence.

Do the Work, With Good Energy

We show up with integrity, follow through on what we say, and prioritize doing things the right way—not just the fast way. We're generous with knowledge, open to feedback, and committed to building a culture of grounded, collaborative energy.

How We Work With People

Partnerships First

We believe real progress happens through collaboration. We foster an ecosystem where every stakeholder is a potential partner, grounded in trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to getting things done.

Radical Welcoming

We welcome everyone working to move innovation forward—whether you're a solo founder, a machinist, a researcher, or just starting out. We intentionally create space for voices that have historically been excluded from the climate and manufacturing ecosystem.

Build With, Not For

We don’t assume we have all the answers. Instead, we co-create with the founders, experts, and partners who use this platform—staying responsive, adaptable, and grounded in real needs.

Scaling climate tech shouldn’t be a solo act

Be part of a growing network built for—and by—climate hardware builders.
