The Story Behind Weaverbird
Over the past several years working with entrepreneurs and climate tech startups, I kept running into the same challenge. Companies were spending a lot of time trying to figure out where to go for the right technical expertise, facilities, or manufacturing support.
Even while managing a climate tech accelerator focused on helping companies scale, I often wished there were a trusted resource that made it easier to understand what support was available, especially when a company had a specific or unusual technical need.
Weaverbird grew out of that experience. I wanted to make those resources easier to find and build stronger connections between the people developing new technologies and the organizations that can help move them forward.

Over time, we hope Weaverbird can help make the ecosystem itself easier to navigate by bringing companies, technical experts, facilities, and other commercialization partners into a more connected community.

We’re starting by making those connections easier through a growing provider network and a shared matchmaking process. Over time, we hope to continue building the relationships, resources, and knowledge that make the battery commercialization ecosystem easier to navigate.
